Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that I share the outcome of two important leadership searches.

Dr. Yosmeriz Roman will be joining us on July 13th as our new Vice Provost and Chief Enrollment Officer. We are excited to welcome her to the Montclair community and look forward to the leadership and expertise she will bring to advancing our enrollment goals and supporting student success. Her extensive experience in strategic enrollment management and educational innovation will be a tremendous asset to the University. To learn more about her, please see the announcement here. 

Dr. Xiaojun Qi will join us this August as the next Director of the School of Computing in the College of Science and Mathematics. An accomplished academic leader and internationally recognized scholar in artificial intelligence, Dr. Qi brings a strong record of leadership, research excellence, and commitment to student and faculty success. We are delighted to welcome her to Montclair and look forward to working with her as she leads the continued growth and development of the School of Computing.

I take this opportunity to thank the search committees and all who participated in these searches. Their dedication, thoughtful engagement, and commitment throughout the process helped attract outstanding candidates and contributed greatly to these successful outcomes.
